Multiple Re-Tries L o c k P r o g r e s s

The Lock Progress Toggle button is problematic for extensive courses.

All of my modules within a Learning Path have several pages within. When a student is going through a module, if they don't complete every page (which some of my modules have 7 to 8 pages of information with multiple mandatory requirements - audio, video, document download) before they finish all 7 or 8 pages, they are forced to restart the entire module! So, if a student is working, has to leave the computer/sign off, their "progress is not locked". Students have attempted 5 times to go almost through the entire program and have had to start over.

So, the first problem is student frustration/ student experience. The second problem is the customer support portal states to go ahead and toggle the Lock Progress to "off" this takes away from the Fidelity of the whole program that is teaching people who are learning how to take care of children from infant to 5 years old! it has VERY important information they MUST interact with. I can't control if they walk away and just barely listen to the content but, at least I can say that it was mandatory and they had to do it. But with this toggle to OFF so that they aren't forced to sit down and complete everything all at once, I can't legitimately say that.

My suggestion is to first, change the name of Lock Progress because it doesn't lock their progress as they complete the module.

Second, without that toggled on, the student can move freely and just kind of complete everything everywhere. Maybe each page should have a created list of everything that must be completed for the student to realize what they have missed.

I have a student who shows completion of 100% but it won't let them go to the next Module. I have no ability to control the progress to the next module, I cannot go in and just see what mandatory elements haven't been finished by the learner - add that feature for the Admin. The learner sees a list of things to do but, it doesn't guarantee that they can move forward and they don't know what they missed.

OK...sorry - hope this doesn't come across as complaining. Just trying to describe the problem and suggestion.
